Our accountability commitment

We publish the scorecard, not just the story.

Onslow County has had an economic development organization since 1970. What it has not had is a published, audited-against-itself scorecard. That changes with this team and this board.

Beginning with FY 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027), we report activity and outcomes against the measures below. Our first annual report publishes in October 2026, and our monthly newsletter begins October 1, 2026 — so progress shows up between annual reports, not only at the end of one.

Said plainly: this is the first year we publish these numbers, so the first report is a baseline, not a victory lap. Where a figure below is a projection from a public grant record rather than a result achieved, we label it that way.

Jacksonville Business Park — 40 acres made build-ready

2022–2024

Our role: Our 501(c)(3) partnership prepared and carried the SITE Program application (“Project Frontier”) with the City of Jacksonville as grantee.

The 400 jobs and $33M are the projections in the public grant record, not results achieved to date. We will report actual jobs and investment as projects land.

Camp Davis Industrial Park Phase II — built out and occupied

Our role: Park development, site marketing, and prospect coordination with the Town of Holly Ridge and the park's private developers.

Onslow Bay Boatworks — marine manufacturer relocated to Holly Ridge
