Investors & Partners

Public dollars and private capital, pulling in the same direction.

Onslow Coastal Alliance is a public-private partnership.

The partnership

County, municipalities, and the private sector at one table.

Economic development in Onslow County spans seven jurisdictions, two military installations, a community college, and a utility landscape that changes block to block. Onslow Coastal Alliance (OCA) exists so a company, a site consultant, or a founder deals with one team instead of coordinating that themselves.

Private investors sit alongside these public partners — shaping the annual work plan, not just funding it.

County and municipal support funds the baseline; private investment is what lets us compete for the projects that raise wages across the county. Here are the four places that support moves the needle.

Site readiness

Due diligence, utility planning, and marketing for Camp Davis and Jacksonville Business Park — so buildings and acreage are shovel-ready before a prospect calls.

Higher-wage recruitment

Targeted outreach to advanced manufacturing, aviation and UAS, marine trades, logistics, and healthcare employers that pay at or above the county wage standard.

Civilian workforce growth

Training partnerships with Coastal Carolina Community College, NCWorks, and Onslow County Schools that convert transitioning service members and graduates into local hires.

One coordinated front door

A single team aligning the County, six municipalities, utilities, the Chamber, and the private sector so a prospect never has to navigate six phone calls.
