Site, building, acreage, utility, zoning, price, and parcel information is compiled from county GIS records, property owners, brokers, utilities, and public agencies. We mark unverified figures as such rather than presenting them as fact, but listings change and third-party records contain errors. Nothing here is a survey, a title opinion, an appraisal, or an offer to sell. Verify everything material to your decision with the owner, the jurisdiction, and your own professionals before you rely on it.

Labor, wage, demographic, and economic figures are attributed to their public source with an as-of date. Incentive descriptions summarise programs administered by others — the State of North Carolina, local governments, and foundations — and eligibility, amounts, and terms are set by those bodies, not by us. Any projection of jobs, investment, or timeline is an estimate, not a promise.

• The membership year runs July 1 through June 30. Investments made mid-year run through the following June 30 unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; you receive an emailed receipt at checkout. We can also invoice you — just ask.
• Investments are non-refundable once the membership year has begun, except where required by law or where we have made an administrative error. Contact us and we will make it right.
• Memberships do not renew automatically unless you set up a recurring payment, and you can cancel a recurring payment at any time by emailing us.
• We are a 501(c)(6) business league, not a 501(c)(3) charity. Investments are generally not deductible as charitable contributions and may be deductible as an ordinary business expense, subject to lobbying-expense limits. We do not give tax advice — please consult your tax adviser.
• Our standing gathering is the annual meeting; other briefings and announcements are scheduled when there is something to announce. Event seats and social features run during the membership year and unused seats are not refunded.
• Site and company visits may be made by our CEO, staff, or a Board ambassador.
• The Board sets the private minimum contribution required to recommend a Private Director. A recommendation is not an automatic Board seat — the Nominating Committee slates, private members elect, and the Board approves.

Please don't scrape the site at volume, misuse our forms, or use our name, logo, or content to imply an endorsement we have not given. You may quote and link our published data with attribution.

We link to partners, state agencies, brokers, and news coverage. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
