Jacksonville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
The Jacksonville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (JUMPO) is the regional transportation planning organization for the Jacksonville, North Carolina metropolitan area. The Jacksonville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is comprised of three parts: Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC), Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC), and staff that serves the members of these boards.
Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission
A 501-c3 nonprofit that was established in 2002 out of extensive research into the benefits of promoting sports tourism in Onslow County. JOSC works to enrich Onslow County through sport in three ways: 1. locally created, owned and operated events, 2. supporting local event promoters to help them grow their events, and 3. engaging the community through recognition programs and youth initiatives.
Onslow County Tourism
Onslow County Tourism provides economic impact through the hospitality industry by marketing and promoting tourism attractions, events, and opportunities throughout Onslow County.
Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce
The Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to be the voice of businesses in collaborative partnerships that work to build and enhance a healthy business climate and vibrant quality of life.
Coastal Carolina Community College
As a member of the North Carolina Community College System, Coastal Carolina Community College provides opportunities for quality post-secondary education, college transfer,workforce training and lifelong learning for the civilian and military population of Onslow County, within the limits of available resources. Coastal values academic excellence, focuses on learning outcomes and student success, provides leadership for community cooperation, and actively contributes to the economic development of Onslow County.
The Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce
A vital part of the Chamber’s mission is to assist in the economic development of our region and to help community growth through services, educational opportunities, creative strategies, community leadership and collaboration.
