In early August, the Town of Holly Ridge hosted a ground breaking ceremony at Camp Davis Industrial Park for its newest business, Onslow Bay Boatworks. The construction of the 50,000 SF facility will immediately put over 20 boat builders to work, with many more to follow.  The Onslow County facility consolidates the operations of five separate plants in Pender and New Hanover Counties.  Owner Brad Knight expects that the new building will streamline manufacturing, allow his company to double their annual production and introduce new models.  JOED was pleased to be part of this process.  We celebrate the growth of the marine trades cluster that is developing in the region and look for other related businesses to locate here as a result.
