North Carolina’s State Budget Director Andrew Heath visited Onslow County to discuss the welfare of North Carolina’s budget and the priorities of the Office of the Governor. He discussed four main areas of the budget: education, health and human services, justice and economic resources, and fiscal responsibilities. Director Heath stated that NC is trying to make investments in the areas of mental health and substance abuse.
The presentation was hosted by the County of Onslow, Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce and Jacksonville Onslow Economic Development.
