Project Frontier’s stormwater management design, the conceptual layout for Camp Davis Industrial Park Phase III, and updates on other projects were interesting topics at last Thursday’s JOED Executive Committee meeting.

During the EC meeting, Anthony Prinz presented the Project Frontier conceptual design for stormwater management and roadway extension at the Jacksonville Business Park. He anticipates that construction bids will be accepted by year’s end and noted that the JOED Building Committee had made recommendations for the first building’s location. Director Sutherland added that, “because this unique public/private partnership allows Project Frontier to move along quickly, JOED has already recommended Project Frontier sites in response to two specific Requests for Information (RFI).”

Additional Project updates were provided, including the site readiness report for Camp Davis  Industrial Park, Phase III, completed by Thomas and Hutton, and funded by a Duke Energy grant.

We were pleased to share our progress with guests to our Executive Committee meeting: Onslow County Commissioner Royce Bennett, Jacksonville Councilman Bob Warden, Jacksonville Deputy Manager Ron Massey, and Onslow County Commissioner candidate Lisa Carpenter.
