The City of Jacksonville’s Industrial Development Fund (IDF) grant application to the NC Department of Commerce (NCDoC) was approved last week. The NCDoC Rural Infrastructure Authority approved the $223,000 grant for road construction in Jacksonville Business Park, connecting New Frontier Way to Gum Branch Road, improving ingress and egress.
Jacksonville Business Park’s Project Frontier is the recipient of $1.515 Million in grant funding, to JOED or the City, from GoldenLEAF Foundation, North Carolina’s Southeast Partnership, North Carolina Electric Cooperatives, Jones Onslow Electric Membership Corporation, and IDF.
